Our music team have just returned from a four-day familiarisation trip to Budapest with a party of our music teachers. Budapest is an ideal destination for school orchestra tours and school choir tours.
In addition to seeing a number of hotels, the group visited a variety of potential concert venues, both indoor and outdoor, sacred and secular and sampled some excursions suitable for students. These included sightseeing, a river dinner cruise, a tour of a military hospital, participating in a medieval jousting show, a visit to a museum of music history and watching a traditional folk music performance.
