Tour manager makes all the difference on Paris school choir trip

We choose our tour managers with great care and this summer so many of our school music touring teachers have been impressed with theirs.

Here’s what a music teacher from Essex said about her tour manager on her school choir tour to Paris:

“Ana contacted me before the tour and sent me some details about herself and why she enjoys the role as tour manager. She was friendly, open, fun and extremely knowledgeable.

“She was amazing. Both Ana and our coach driver ‘Sparky’ joined in with all activities, ate their meals with us and joined in with us in the Disney park. They watched the students perform and were really complimentary, praising our students. As a result, the students felt comfortable with both of them and sang to them on the coach when we said our goodbyes. They made the tour very special for us.

“She joined in with the students, she had all paperwork to hand, she translated at every venue, she knew Paris like the back of her hand and was able to advise the coach driver. She sorted out minor problems for us, she supported a student who was taken poorly, she dealt with a stolen wallet, she ensured that students and staff knew exactly where they needed to be and by when, she made our lives easy because she was so organised. We loved her!

“As tour leader I felt safe in her hands – that is the highest compliment I can pay her. Her contribution to this tour was immeasurable.”
