A grammar school from Merseyside took their sacred choir and concert band on an amazing school music tour to Budapest this summer.

Paul their Head of Music said it was, “an amazing city to visit, with excellent concert venues and excursion opportunities.

“It was a great tour, really enjoyed by all concerned. The coach and drivers were great (can we have them again please) and Dorina [their Tour Manager] was absolutely fantastic. I can’t stress enough how important I feel it is for the tour manager to be with the group at both concert venues and the excursions. It saves time and stress levels to know there is someone there who knows where to go and what to do. Not every tour company offers this, and it is the main reason I come back to Club Europe. Long may it continue!”

The group performed at Buda Castle, in Budapest Jazz club and participated in mass at St Stephen’s Basilica. When not performing, they enjoyed visits to Fisherman’s Bastion, the Institute of Musicology and the Museum of Music History. They went to Aquaworld and Margaret Island, took a flight on Budapest Eye, explored Visgrad and took an evening cruise on the Danube.
