We’re delighted to have been shortlisted for two industry awards.

We are one of three finalists for the British Youth Travel Awards 2015 in the ‘Best Educational Product’ category. Organised by the British Education Travel Association’s (BETA), we are guaranteed to win either Bronze, Silver or Gold. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in London in December.

Our Proud to Perform initiative has also been shortlisted for the Best Musical Initiative Award at the 2016 Music Teacher Awards for Excellence. The winners will be announced at a gala black-tie event in London next February.

“I am delighted that we’ve been shortlisted for both these awards, Lucy Szymonski our head of Concert Tours said. “All our music team are practising musicians themselves, dedicated to giving students wonderful musical experiences that inspire and motivate them and I am thrilled that their dedication and passion for what they do has been acknowledged in this way.

“Our students get so much out of performing to whole new audiences, who, in turn, admire their talent at such young ages, as well as the dedication of the teachers who take them abroad.

“I am particularly pleased that we have launched our Proud to Perform initiative in which we are funding an amazing music touring experience for a disadvantaged young ensemble who would otherwise not be able to afford to tour.

“Whether taking part in a mass in Barcelona Cathedral, playing at the Last Post ceremony at the Menin Gate or performing in a bandstand in Paris, our tours give young musicians very special musical memories and I’m so pleased that this unique part of music education has been recognised.”
