Girls choir heads Down Under for fabulous music tour to Australia

A girls choir from Nottingham will enjoy a fantastic 15-day choir tour to Australia this summer.

Stopping off in Abu Dhabi en route, the choir will enjoy a mix of concerts and sightseeing in three of Australia’s major cities.

During their six nights in Sydney, they will see Sydney’s famous harbour and Opera House and take a ferry across the harbour to Manly. Outside their concert programme, they may take a trip to one of the cities 70 beaches and find time to explore the cobblestone cul-de-sacs of The Rocks or the markets, boutiques and cafés of Paddington.

Next stop is Adelaide for four nights, where they can visit the largest undercover market in the southern hemisphere, the Adelaide Central Market or take a ride on Adelaide’s tram from the city centre to the historic, vibrant beachside suburb of Glenelg.

Finally they will spend three nights in Melbourne, where they’ll be able to soak up the cultural capital of Australia and enjoy some memorable performances. Melbourne is famous for its vibrant energy, restaurants, fashion boutiques, café-filled laneways, unbeatable galleries, spacious parks and village-like inner suburbs, each with its own special character.

Club Europe’s directors are both Antipodean, so this tour is especially close to our hearts.
We hope our choir has a truly once-in-a lifetime touring experience.
