GEMS World Academy have just returned from an exhilarating and fulfilling trip to the Austrian Alps, as part of their Week Without Walls.

A full programme of outdoor activities included:

• Mountain climbing • Rafting • Mountain biking • Archery • and High ropes

And the outdoor theme continued into the evenings with a campfire, stargazing and a last night BBQ on the banks of the River Inn. For many students from this school in the United Arab Emirates, this would have been their first experience of European mountains.

“An amazing trip to a beautiful region,” said Kara, the party leader, “thanks to all our guides and Martina, our gracious hostess.”
