A school music tour to the Rhineland was a great success for a school in Lincolnshire.
Jayne their Head of Music said: “We had an amazing time from start to finish! From a very tired Director of Music, I would still cheerfully go again because it was so well organised.
“Everything was amazing from start to finish. I would like to say a massive thank you to all the team.”
The tour was for the school’s samba band, choir and big band who played two concerts, one in a concert hall and one outdoors in the garden of a spa. “This was a real success, we were thrilled with it and the organiser actually presented us with a framed picture featuring our name to bring back as a souvenir.”
Jayne was also impressed with her hostel: “It was excellent. All en suite and clean. The outside facilities for sports were really impressive.”
Speaking about her driver, she said: “I can honestly say it was the best experience I have had in all my tours. Dave Roberts was an amazing driver, nothing was too much trouble, he helped enormously throughout the trip and we were on time or early for everything. He had thought of everything to make this such a pleasurable experience.”
When not performing, the group enjoyed a visit to Phantasialand theme park and went bowling.
