'A stunning destination which our students thoroughly enjoyed. They will have fabulous memories'

“The scenery is STUNNING and I don’t think I’ve ever been anywhere where the people are so friendly. We loved it!”

This is what Fiona a teacher from Buckinghamshire had to say of her school orchestra tour to Iceland last month. The orchestra performed three concerts, including one in the City Hall in Reykjavik, and enjoyed some incredible excursions to some of the islands’ many amazing sights.

Fiona continued: “Hannah our Account Manager was always available and helpful and Isabel our Operations Manager had to deal with some very trying circumstances with this trip, but managed to keep her cool at all times. She deserves a medal!

“I was most impressed with your communication, especially in the latter stages, it was excellent. I really developed a feeling of confidence that the trip would be well organised.

“The excursions were wonderful. There was a good balance of guided and ‘free’ time.

“The hotel was ideally situated – an easy and very scenic walk into town and had friendly and very helpful staff. The food - WOW! Special food was cooked for vegetarians. There was always a hot option plus two kinds of home-made and very delicious soup.

Speaking of their tour manager, Fiona said: “FANTASTIC! Sigriour was lovely – she was just right for us!” Of her coach drivers she commented:” They were perfect. Friendly and helpful.”

Fiona summed up their trip: “A stunning destination which our students thoroughly enjoyed. They will have fabulous memories.”
