Jane Werry, Head of Music from Hayes School in Kent has just returned from a wonderful mixed ensemble school music tour to Saxony.
Here’s what she had to say:
“Alahree, our account manager was excellent as always – she understands perfectly what we want and need! As always, our operations manager Sabine’s enthusiasm and knowledge was excellent and greatly appreciated. I was impressed with the speedy response to all my queries and changes.
“Our bandstand concert was perfect. We did Adiemus surrounding the audience, which worked brilliantly and the audience were super generous with donations at the end! A really lovely venue.
“Everything about the hostel was great. The location was fine for getting to all our destinations. The staff were brilliant. We had great fresh fruit and salad and our veggies were happy with what was on offer!
“We give Georg, our tour manager, 6 out of 5! He was superb. He was great with introductions and liaising with the venues about the finer points of organisation. He was just perfect. He made sure everything worked for us, but also contributed to the brilliant time we had by being such fun.
“He was also great at impromptu things, like when we were at the Frauenkirche in Dresden, he spoke to people to see if we would be allowed to sing there. This ended up being an absolute highlight of our tour!
Jane summed up: “Our music tours give our students the best memories of their time at school.”
