A choir from a school in Milan has just returned from a wonderful school music tour to Venice.

In addition to their concert programme, the group had time to do some sightseeing around this beautiful city, take a vaporetto to Murano to visit the glass museum there and watch a glass blowing demonstration, visit the famous Rialto Bridge and enjoy an afternoon in Museo della Musica.

The choir took part in mass in the famous St Mark’s Basilica and sang in one of the historic villas in the area.

Here’s what their music leader, Lindsay had to say of her young choir’s expereince:

“Club Europe provided a life changing trip for myself and my students. Hannah (our account manager) went above and beyond for us. She stayed late the day before we left for tour and managed to handle a last minute cancellation with ease and grace. I hope to work with her in the future.

“It was wonderful to perform in St. Mark’s Basilica! This church was meant to be sung in!

“The hotel was great. The owners were extremely nice and accommodating. I liked Lido di Jesolo. It was a nice save spot for our group and the beach was great. It was also a fun ferry ride each day. I would stay there again. The people were friendly and the town was safe.”

Speaking of her tour manager, Lindsay said: “Josh knew all of the students names by the end of the second day. He was able to connect with every single student at one point or another on the tour.

“His relationship with my students is my favorite part about having him with us. At any point during the tour, Josh was trying to make our experience better. He cares about his job as a leader and mentor to the students and he genuinely loves what he does. I’m lucky to know him and I hope we get him next year as well!”
