This is one of our more extraordinary music leader comments. But then Darren Roberts, a music teacher from Mount Bay Academy in Cornwall had an extraordinary experience with his bands on tour in Wallonia in Belgium. "Our beach club concert was probably the best gig we had ever done and our young people still constantly talk about that night. The whole show was a highlight but the last song Eggshells starting up while the sunset streamed in the window was pure magic.
"I can’t speak highly enough of Josh, our tour manager. He learned everyone’s names in about ten minutes and from that point on was just one of the gang. The whole process was made enjoyable for me because Josh carried all the stress. I’ve never met anyone like him and we’ve become firm friends."
