Our school ski trip season begins

A school from Surrey flew out to Munich at the weekend to enjoy a wonderful week’s skiing in Austria.

Out first trip of the ski season, our students are based in Sankt Johann im Pongau, where there are great nursery and beginner slopes on the Hahnbaum family mountain as well as a huge range of more challenging runs in the 120kms of the Alpendorf ski area.

A bonus of a school ski trip to this resort is that you can join the Flachau-Wagrain ski carousel and enjoy the whole range of runs in the Amadé Skiwelt. There is also the Alpendorf Betterpark, a paradise for freestylers!

Our group are staying at the Jugendhotel Weitenmoos, which has amazing in-house facilities for young groups. These include a disco, table tennis, trampoline, climbing wall and slackline. There is free internet access, including WiFi, and, in addition to their bowling evening and torchlit walk, our group can take the Weitenmoos Adventure Challenge, which includes tree climbing, rope walking and a zip wire.
