Saalbach-Hinterglemm is second most popular ski resort in the world, says report

Ever wondered which ski resort is the most popular?

Well, according to the 2016 International Report on Snow and Mountain Tourism, La Plagne in France comes out on top with our perennial favourite Saalbach-Hinterglemm in Austria ranked second for the second year running.

Of the 44 resorts ranked, 14 are in Austria, and 13 are in France.

The report now in its 8th year, compiles data from a number of sources and is produced by the respected Swiss consultant, Laurent Vanat.
