Where it all began - Sarah

As we continue with our series of blogs introducing you to our wonderful ski team, this week we meet our Flights Co-ordinator, Sarah.

“As Flights Co-ordinator, I arrange the flights and liaise with the airlines on ticketing, passport, dietary and baggage requirements for our school groups. I also assist with our school ski trip administration.

“I was first introduced to skiing when I visited my cousins who live in Switzerland when I was 10. My uncle was always keen to start us at the very highest point and see if we could find the bottom. Which I did at high speed on a few occasions! Luckily, despite falling over a lot, I did enjoy being out in the beautiful scenery and alpine air so a few years later tried to snowplough through parts of Austria, France and Italy.

“I originally worked in National Press advertising for 14 years and then took a break to be with my two boys and I joined Club Europe six years ago.

“Now my own children are going on school trips I can really see how these benefit their social development and give them a greater confidence that they have tried something new whilst having a lot of fun!”
