Students enjoy wonderful Art Trip to New York

  • Jun 08, 2015

Art students from a school in Kent had a fabulous school travel tour to New York this Spring.

Their trip included visits to the Frick Collection – famous for its old Master paintings and examples of European sculpture and decorative arts – the Metropolitan Museum of Art, MoMA the Museum of Modern Art and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, an internationally-renowned modern and contemporary art museum.

The students took a trip up the Empire State Building, a boat to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, ice-skated at the Rockerfeller Centre and enjoyed a Broadway show.

Their Head of Art was delighted with the trip, commenting:

“I want to say thank you for helping to organise our recent tour to New York.

“Throughout the process I always felt that I was able to contact either yourselves or someone in the office with a query. On contacting you the response was measured and effective and resolved within a good time frame: this made the planning of the trip and communication with parents so much easier.

“Discussing prices, dates and accommodation was reassuring in the first instance and being able to send an itinerary and have those visits booked and managed at your end was a tremendous help.

“In summary: good communication throughout and competitive prices that included guided tours and entrances. As a result I have recommended Club Europe to other colleagues.”
