‘Thank you making our first time in Munich a truly memorable experience’

A German language group from a school in Essex have had a wonderful school trip to Munich.

“Thank you for organising a well-executed tour,” their Head of German Jackie commented, “and making our first time in Munich a truly memorable experience.”

The group visited the Gothic Church of our Lady with its twin 99m high towers, BMW World, where 125 of most important and beautiful models are exhibited, and Neuschwanstein castle. They went to Füssen, Bavaria’s highest town and had a thought-provoking visit to Dachau Concentration Camp.

“The pupils had the opportunity to find out about German history, practise German through tasks given by staff each day, see German landscape and utilise everyday skills with transport,“ Jackie added.

“They enjoyed all aspects of the trip – Olympiapark, Neuschwanstein Castle and Dachau were particularly popular, however BMW Welt was also good and we had a very informative tour of the Allianz Arena. Bowling was very good too!”
