Take your art students to an exciting new art exhibition

Did you know…in 2018, there are a number of exciting art exhibitions taking place just over the Channel in Flanders, Belgium.

A couple of these events take place just every three years, so why not take the opportunity to take your students for a quick trip to take in these exhibitions and an art gallery or two?

The Bruges Triennial runs from 5th May – 16th September 2018 and showcases modern art in a historical context, gathering artists from around the world whose artworks are scattered in public spaces throughout the old city of Bruges. Talks and tours are available to add further depth for your students.

Meanwhile, Beaufort Art Triennial runs from 30th March – 30th September 2018 and takes place by the sea. The art and sculptures on display in this outdoor gallery running up and down the coast reflect the region’s strong identity as well as its connection with the many exotic countries with which the area has traded over the years.

There are many more events taking place in Belgium both in 2018 and 2019. If you’d like to know more, please get in touch with our friendly educational tours team on Freephone 0800 496 4996. Or click on the links to find out more about our MFL trips or all our educational trips for schools.
