'The students are Physicists and found the whole experience at CERN riveting'

An A Level Science trip to CERN this half term was ‘riveting’ for students from Kingston Grammar in Surrey, says their Physics teacher Mehdi Behnoudnia:

“The visit to CERN was amazing. The students are Physicists and found the whole experience at CERN riveting. This is their idea and not mine. Their interest in the topic was further increased as they could see what and how research into the unknown is carried out and how it benefits everyone in the long term. The visit to the red cross museum was an eye opener for them.

“The escape room was brilliant and the students said they would happily go there again.”

In addition to their workshops at the leading Science research facility, the group also fitted in trips to a chocolaterie, the Science Museum and the UN building.

“I was extremely pleased with Rob’s professional and helpful approach,” Mehdi added. “I would like to say a special thank you to Isabel. She was fully aware of my group’s wishes and arranged all the excursions according to my requirements and timings. She was not only fully aware of my deadlines but also took the time to phone me and keep me up to date so that I would not give the parents a false itinerary.”
