Lucy  was super – always there to help, and gave clear and informative information from the outset. Sabine was again, totally reliable. Responded to queries almost immediately and built a trusting relationship with me from the outset. A well planned tour which was hugely enjoyable in every respect. Thank you for putting this trip together for us.

Concerts Review

[On a church concert]  A great success, we loved the acoustic which was great for our choral singing. A warm welcome and plenty of interested locals. A super organ. [On their second church concert ] Very much a success. A large appreciative audience, and we enjoyed singing unaccompanied in the space. A very warm welcome and they had done a lot of publicity.

Accommodation Review

A very nice hostel – just right for our party. The staff were first class.

Transport Review

Highly competant. Professional, friendly. The coach exceeded my expectations– it was a fabulous vehicle! A very positive travel experience.

Visits Review

We went down to the beach each evening  - it was safe enough and warm enough to go in the sea too.

Accommodation Review

Brilliant – safe, clean and able to travel quickly to nearby places for concerts. Easy to get to from London. Great location and we had sole use of the hotel. Great to be able to run a rehearsal whilst there too. The staff were amazing! Arnold and his family were good humoured, patient and a pleasure to stay with.

Rep Review

With calmness, good humour and efficiency, Justine helped to make the tour a success by ensuring all arrangements were as they should be, She spent time each day going through our plans.

Transport Review

Working with Hannah has been an absolute pleasure. We have worked with Hannah in a number of tours and I couldn’t recommend her enough, she is polite, clear with deadlines, goes the extra mile and makes things very clear. I was most impressed with the contact with the team, the helpful nature of the people and the useful advice on where to go when. Please sum up in one sentence your Club Europe tour experience. A tour is something every school musician should have the chance to experience. The destination, concerts, excursions and experience were amazing. Your staff were simply stunning, Ed, Hannah, the coach drivers and the wonderful van drivers, who need a big mention for their excellent work, but Alice is a gem, so keen to get everything right, she was brilliant. This was one of, if not the best, tour we have ever done, thank you all for making it a success.

Concerts Review

[On taking part in a music festival] Lots of passing audience due to the outside nature of the venue. Yes, really good audience reaction, lovely comments from audience members and great to be part of the festival, we even got a framed certificate!

Accommodation Review

Exceeded my expectations. What a brilliant destination, central, easy to reach venues and activities, great to be by the beach, this was so helpful. This was one of the best destinations we had been to. Really good place to stay.

Rep Review

Alice was brilliant, she brought things together brilliantly from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. She always in touch with the venues, liaising with the organisers and acting as the go between to ensure it all worked. I can’t talk highly enough of Alice, she made sure it was a success, she was stunning.

Transport Review

Our drivers were brilliant throughout, really polite, helpful, knew what was going on and an absolute pleasure to work with.

Hannah was professional, very helpful - and I was always able to contact Ed and discuss the itinerary. He had many suggestions but was also able to incorporate my suggestions.

Concerts Review

[On an outdoor concert] Many people stopped to listen – others were lunching in local cafes. The acoustics were lovely, the sound bounced off the high buildings. The venue host was very accommodating, helpful and welcoming.

Visits Review

The range of visits was lovely, from a busy capital city to quiet beach. The students especially loved Efteling Theme Park The museum at Zaans Schanse was also a success.

Accommodation Review

Stayokay Noordwijk was superb! The staff were extremely helpful. The hostel had plenty of meeting space, ‘hanging out’ space and an airy dining hall. Outside there were plenty of sporting facilities for the students.

Rep Review

Georgie always helped to unload the equipment. She put out the posters and liaised with the venue hosts. She certainly made my job easier.

Transport Review

Ian was extremely courteous, helpful and adaptable.

Concerts Review

[On a concert in a school] Fantastic concert. We were made very welcome by the staff and students and I would definitely recommend this as a venue for other bands. The Head was very keen and the music teachers hoped it would inspire his students. The children’s response was very encouraging. We also listened to a performance by their whole school and a year 5 group.

Visits Review

Anne Frank’s House , van Gogh and canal cruise all suitable for the group and they enjoyed it.

Accommodation Review

Great destination for students as near the beach. On two evenings we spent a couple hours at the beach with organised games. Staff were very hospitable and rooms were clean. Food was fine and suitable for children.

Transport Review

Excellent, very impressed.

Club Europe holidays Ltd is the data controller and we have appointed Tim Johnson as the Data Processing Officer. To keep things simple, when we refer to “we” and “us” it means Club Europe.

3. Legal basis explained

The new laws of data protection set out a number of different reasons for which a company may collect and process your personal data. We believe the following apply to you in terms of how we work:-

Consent

In specific situations, we can collect and process your data with your consent.

For example, when you tick a box to receive our marketing updates.

Contractual obligations

In certain circumstances, we need your personal data to comply with our contractual obligations.

For example, in planning and executing your tour, we will need important personal data such as names, emergency mobile contact numbers, passport information and dietary or medical requirements. We use these only to fulfil our contractual obligations and promise to keep them safe and secure.

Legitimate interest

Where we have an ongoing relationship with you, we will use the non sensitive data we store such as email addresses & past tour information to help us keep you informed of our products and social events.

For example, we will look back on previous tour destinations you may have been to and offer new tours that may be relevant.

We will also use your details to send you direct marketing information by email and occasionally post, telling you about products and services that we think might interest you.

You will have the right to unsubscribe at any time and we will respect your preferences.

4. What sort of personal data do we collect?

We collect your name, email address, school or club address, mobile telephone and work contact number as a minimum.

Where you are planning a tour with us we will, at the appropriate time, request that you complete additional passenger information for the group you are responsible for. The information we will request is passport details, dietary or medical requirements, dates of birth, gender, ski ability, height, weight and details of any musical instruments your group may be bringing. If we need to refund you monies then we will request an appropriate bank or building society account. The account and sort code will only be stored in our secure Banking software in case we need to pay you again.

We’ll only ask for and use your personal data collected for recommending tours or inviting you to social events we may be planning. Of course, it’s always your choice whether you share such details with us.
