NEW FOR OCTOBER HALF TERM: Armistice Rugby Festival in France

We’re excited to introduce a fantastic new two-day rugby festival in France that combines great rugby with a focus on remembrance.

Our festival, which takes place over October half term, is based in Compiègne, an idyllic French town; it is where the Armistice was signed on 11 November 1918, and again on 22 June 1940.

Competing in the festival are rugby squads of all ages from teams across France, the UK and Europe. Off the pitch the itinerary will include visits to the Museum of Occupation, Resistance and Deportation, which tells history from a perspective not taught in UK schools. Students will also attend a ceremony at Mametz.

FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS:

A training session with South Africa’s RDJ Sports, AND a ‘Train the Trainer’ session for visiting coaches.
