Salzburg is probably best known as the birthplace of Mozart and as the location for the filming of the Sound of Music. Visitors can soak up the city’s musical history as well as stunning examples of Baroque architecture. Salzburg is a compact city.
View mapMost small towns, such as St Wolfgang and St Gilgen, have covered music pavilions which are suitable for some of the larger symphonic wind bands and even small orchestras. We work closely with some of the picturesque churches in the small Alpine villages, such as Flachau, where a warm welcome is assured. An impromptu recital may be given by choirs with a sacred repertoire in Salzburg cathedral, while the Mirabell Gardens give bands the opportunity to perform in this grand and beautiful city.

On the first afternoon of this wonderful choir festival, choirs will perform at the traditional Christmas Market at the steps of the cathedral or on the stage in front of the Castle Hellbrunn. On the following evening, you will perform together with another guest choir and a choir from Salzburg at an Advent concert in a church in Salzburg or in the surrounding area. There’ll be lots of mulled wine and time to explore this beautiful city.

Hohensalzburg Fortress, Mozart’s birthplace, plenty of shopping.

Our excellent contacts in Salzburgerland mean we can accommodate groups in both central Salzburg and surrounding areas, depending on your needs and budget.
