“Lovely venues, lovely audiences, comfortable accommodation. Alahree was very prompt and efficient with her responses and understood our needs well.”
Gill Chapman, Cecilia Singers, Berkshire
“It was brilliant and everything I expected from a tour and more. Jonathan was brilliant. He was always patient with me and nothing seemed to...”
Cath Danswan, Swindon Choral Society, Wiltshire
These two regions sit next to each other and are bound together by the confluence of the two rivers at Koblenz. The Rhineland, with its sweeping vineyards, quaint half-timbered houses and imposing castles, is steeped in legend and history. The Moselle Valley, quieter and less scenically dramatic than its neighbour, is no less interesting; the wine town of Cochem has a lively atmosphere and an imposing castle, while the Roman city of Trier with its mighty city gate, the Porta Nigra, makes an interesting excursion.
You will have the opportunity of performing in both the Rhine and Moselle Valleys during your music tour to this area. Both offer similar venues which include well equipped spa halls, bandstands in spa and town parks and churches. In addition to this region’s many beautiful churches and spa towns, groups can also give a recital at Cologne Cathedral (sacred choirs only) or take part in one of the wine festivals.
Day 1
Afternoon arrival, possibly with time for a rehearsal.
Day 2

Day 3
Morning visit to Koblenz with its famous “German Corner” memorial. Time to enjoy strolling along the pedestrianized city centre with its many shopping possibilities. Afternoon concert in Bad Ems’ Park or Marble Hall. Return to accommodation for a bowling night out.
Day 4
Morning excursion to Cologne to visit the cathedral, old town and chocolate factory. Afternoon visit to Bonn to see Beethoven’s House, followed by brief rehearsal and evening concert as part of one of the wine festivals. Return to accommodation.
Day 5

Impressive 750-year old cathedral, old town, and the excellent chocolate factory.
Beautiful riverside town, also with an interesting castle.
2000 year old city with impressive Roman ruins.
Working with our contacts in the Rhine & Moselle Valleys, we will source appropriate accommodation for your ensemble, depending on your needs and budget.
We accept any group as long as they are used to performing together as an ensemble, even if only to their fellow students and parents. We always ask for a recent recording of your group and we have range of venues on offer that will welcome beginner groups as well as experienced ensembles.
We understand that when you go on a music tour where you stay is really important. All hotels and hostels we use are suitable for music ensembles with many offering rehearsal space and instrument storage. Rooms generally en-suite.
You should book your tour between 8-18 months in advance. This will give us time to find the best possible venues for your tour and you will have ample time for fundraising should you need to do so.
