Ghent is a very popular base for our groups; every bit as beautiful as Bruges yet a much more compact and a quieter alternative. Ghent is dominated by the imposing 12th century Castle of the Counts, while canals weave their way through the town. On the banks are countless churches, museums and glorious medieval buildings, including the magnificent town hall and belfry. St Bavo’s cathedral not only boasts wonderful works of art by Van Eyck and Rubens but also the largest organ in the Benelux countries.
The De Draecke Youth Hostel lies in the heart of Ghent and offers a high standard of accommodation for our groups. All rooms have private bathroom and are 4-6 bedded. Downstairs there is a bar, dining room, TV and meeting room and the hostel staff will go out of their way to provide our groups with a comfortable stay.
Situated less than half an hour’s drive to the east of Brussels, Leuven is a glorious town of stunning medieval architecture and home to one of the world’s oldest catholic universities. Hence the city has a fantastic mix of old and new, with plenty of lively bars and cafes set amidst some of the most beautiful architecture you can find. Leuven’s richest monument is the ornately decorated town hall, which stands in the pedestrianised main square, while just outside the city you will find the Interbrew company, which brews the world famous Stella Artois lager.
De Blauwput youth hostel is situated just 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Leuven and, having opened only in 2003, offers modern, comfortable accommodation for our groups. Bedrooms are 4-6 bedded, all with their own bathroom. Facilities at the hostel include three meeting rooms (pre-booking required), a friendly bar and sun terrace.
Once your tour is booked, it is safely in our hands. We will only ask for you assistance in understanding your concert requirements and you will be responsible for ensuring that the dates on our checklist are adhered to. Until your departure, you simply need to prepare your musicians musically and compile the tour repertoire.

The most pleasant times of year to come to Europe are May to September, therefore you may wish to consider this when planning your tour. Summer temperatures across Europe range from 18-35 degrees Celsius. European cities in winter can also offer many interesting cultural experiences that you may enjoy.
