Daniel Roland, music teacher from Hampton School in Middlesex took his swing and jazz band on a summer tour to Malta.

Speaking of a concert in one of the resorts, Daniel said: “The venue was packed out and in addition, we had a constant flow of people passing the venue and either stopping or coming in! It was a great success. The pupils were thrilled with the stage, lighting and audience size and they certainly rose to the occasion. Many audience members came to compliment the bands and some of the pupils' parents who joined us in Malta were extremely impressed with the venue. The staff and I agreed this was a great way to end the tour."
