View mapYou can perform in one of the island’s many churches and concert halls as well as at the City Hall.
Day 1
Arrive at Reykjavik airport in the afternoon and meet your guide in the arrival hall, who will take you to your private coach and drive you to your hotel. Enjoy a free evening with time to walk to town, along the sea shore. You may like to go for a swim in the nearby Laugardalslaug swimming pool.
Day 2
Enjoy a morning tour of the Reykjanes Peninsula. After lunch, time for an afternoon rehearsal before your first concert in the evening at one of the capital’s churches.
Day 3
A day exploring the area on the Golden Circle Classic tour. This incorporates a visit to the amazing Þingvellir National park, the Geysir Hot Spring and Gullfoss. Evening concert at a local concert hall.
Day 4
In the morning enjoy a guided walking tour of Reykjavik where two thirds of Iceland’s population live. Afternoon free to go shopping, do some more sightseeing or go swimming. Early evening concert at the City Hall. Enjoy a quiz back at the hotel in the evening.
Day 5
Check out of your hotel and enjoy a visit to the famous Blue Lagoon, a unique mineral-rich lake formed from geothermal seawater, before heading to the airport for your flight home.
One of the biggest swimming pools in Reykjavík. There are hot tubs, waterslides and much more. The pool was built in 1968 and designed by city architect Einar Sveinsson.
A UNESCO Geopark, our tour of this fascinating Pennisula will drive you past the Presidential residence of Bessastadir and the town of Hafnarfjörður. It will then take a coastal road to Lake Kleifarvatn, which is set in fascinating, stark, moon-like surroundings. You will see Krísuvík with its powerful jets of sulphurous steam escaping from deep below the earth’s crust and innumerable small hot springs, mud pots and boiling pools. At the end of the tour you will visit Grindavik, a bustling town with a large fishing fleet.
This starts with a drive to Þingvellir, a remarkable geological site located by Lake Þingvallavatn, the largest lake on the island. There is a beautiful canyon running through the park, which is actually the meeting point of two of the earth’s tectonic plates. Next see the infamous Geysir area, where you’ll see one of the most active geysers in the area, Strokkur, which spouts up to 30 meters in the air every 5 to 7 minutes. The tour culminates with a visit to Gullfoss (Golden Waterfall), where you can see thousands of tons of icy water thunder majestically down into a deep gorge.
This tour introduces you to the world’s northernmost capital. You will visit the old town centre, the Parliament, Domkirkja Cathedral and Hallgrímskirkja Church (whose steeple is a Reykjavík landmark).
A unique lake with pleasantly warm mineral-rich geothermal water in the middle of a black lava field where you can enjoy a sauna, steam baths and a massage waterfall.
You will be based at Hotel Cabin in Borgartún whose 250 rooms are all en-suite and have satellite TV. Though many of the rooms offer excellent scenic views, 27 of them have windows facing directly onto the hotel corridor. These have proved a welcome option for sleeping during the brightness of Reykjavík’s long summer nights. There is a swimming pool next door and the city’s main shopping area is nearby.
We understand that school music tours are considered as a reward or holiday for many groups and that where you stay is really important. All hotels and hostels we use are suitable for young music ensembles with many offering rehearsal space and instrument storage. Rooms are normally multi-bedded for students and twins, sometimes singles, for adults. Generally, rooms are en-suite.
As there is sometimes a significant time difference between us and you, email may be the best way to keep in touch with us. Alternatively, our office opening hours are 0800-1730 (GMT) should you wish to talk to us. Our phone number is +44 20 8772 6446.
We work hard to generate excellent attendance at each concert, as we understand that an appreciative audience makes all the difference. We produce eye-catching posters and handbills, which are displayed and distributed in the environs of your concerts. We also advertise your concerts in online and hard copy local What’s On Guides as well as newspapers, by way of press releases. In addition, we invite local dignitaries, music societies and music students to your concerts. Last but not least, we provide you with posters for your concerts, which will be displayed in your coach and placed on your Club Europe poster board at your venue by your tour manager before each concert.

We know that there’s a lot of information here but we want you to be fully informed about your rights, and how Club Europe uses your data.
We hope the following sections will answer any questions you have but if not, please do get in touch with us.
We will never share your data with a third party for marketing purposes; it’s not how we work.
Personal data refers to information about you, and from which you could be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data). There are “special categories” of more personal data which require a higher level of protection.
Club Europe holidays Ltd is the data controller and we have appointed Tim Johnson as the Data Processing Officer. To keep things simple, when we refer to “we” and “us” it means Club Europe.
The new laws of data protection set out a number of different reasons for which a company may collect and process your personal data. We believe the following apply to you in terms of how we work:-
Consent
In specific situations, we can collect and process your data with your consent.
For example, when you tick a box to receive our marketing updates.
Contractual obligations
In certain circumstances, we need your personal data to comply with our contractual obligations.
For example, in planning and executing your tour, we will need important personal data such as names, emergency mobile contact numbers, passport information and dietary or medical requirements. We use these only to fulfil our contractual obligations and promise to keep them safe and secure.
Legitimate interest
Where we have an ongoing relationship with you, we will use the non sensitive data we store such as email addresses & past tour information to help us keep you informed of our products and social events.
For example, we will look back on previous tour destinations you may have been to and offer new tours that may be relevant.
We will also use your details to send you direct marketing information by email and occasionally post, telling you about products and services that we think might interest you.
You will have the right to unsubscribe at any time and we will respect your preferences.
We collect your name, email address, school or club address, mobile telephone and work contact number as a minimum.
Where you are planning a tour with us we will, at the appropriate time, request that you complete additional passenger information for the group you are responsible for. The information we will request is passport details, dietary or medical requirements, dates of birth, gender, ski ability, height, weight and details of any musical instruments your group may be bringing. If we need to refund you monies then we will request an appropriate bank or building society account. The account and sort code will only be stored in our secure Banking software in case we need to pay you again.
We’ll only ask for and use your personal data collected for recommending tours or inviting you to social events we may be planning. Of course, it’s always your choice whether you share such details with us.

Whenever we collect or process your personal data, we’ll only keep it for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
At the end of that retention period, your data will either be deleted completely or anonymised, for example by aggregation with other data so that it can be used in a non-identifiable way for statistical analysis and business planning.
Some examples of customer data retention periods:
