The Rhine and Moselle Valleys are both very popular and successful destinations for our young performing groups. These two regions sit next to each other and are bound together by the confluence of the two rivers at Koblenz. The Rhineland, with its sweeping vineyards, quaint halftimbered houses and imposing castles, is steeped in legend and history. The Moselle Valley, quieter and less scenically dramatic than its neighbour, is no less interesting; the wine town of Cochem has a lively atmosphere and an imposing castle, while the Roman city of Trier with its mighty city gate, the Porta Nigra, makes an interesting excursion.
View mapBoth offer similar venues which include well equipped spa halls, bandstands in spa and town parks and churches. In addition to this region’s many beautiful churches and spa towns, groups can also give a recital at Cologne Cathedral (sacred choirs only) or take part in one of the wine festivals.

At Bacharach Youth Hostel you can authenticate your tour to the area by staying in this medieval castle, perched on the cliffs overlooking the Rhine valley. Groups can use the Knights’ Banqueting Hall for rehearsals and concerts and reside in 10 bedded dorm rooms high up in the tower overlooking the valley. The hostel has a central courtyard which can be used for meals or socialising.
Also in its own grounds, Traben-Trabach youth hostel is situated some 20 minutes’ walk from the centre of this charming small town. This modern, well-run hostel offers 170 beds, with all rooms having private facilities. Students’ rooms in this hostel are 4-bedded, with bunks. Leaders’ rooms also have bunks, usually with one pair of bunks per person.
We work hard to generate excellent attendance at each concert, as we understand that an appreciative audience makes all the difference. We produce eye-catching posters and handbills, which are displayed and distributed in the environs of your concerts. We also advertise your concerts in online and hard copy local What’s On Guides as well as newspapers, by way of press releases. In addition, we invite local dignitaries, music societies and music students to your concerts. Last but not least, we provide you with posters for your concerts, which will be displayed in your coach and placed on your Club Europe poster board at your venue by your tour manager before each concert.
