Zuid-Holland, or South Holland, is the Netherlands’ most densely populated region and lies to the west of the country, with its entire northern border meeting the North Sea. This stretch of coastline is magnificent, with wide sandy beaches, huge sand dunes and many lively resorts to be found nestling behind. Zuid-Holland’s provincial capital is The Hague, a fascinating city to explore. Its many treasures include the recently restored Mauritshuis art gallery, which is home to Vermeer’s ‘The Girl With the Pearl Earring’, and the excellent miniature village theme park of Madurodam. Amsterdam is just a short drive away, allowing you to visit the thought-provoking Anne Frank museum and to enjoy a cruise on its many famous canals.

Noordwijk is a clean and friendly seaside resort, with activities such as bowling, swimming and minigolf, The 2-star Hotel Aan Zee is family-run and lies in an excellent location close to the beach and other amenities. Students’ rooms are multi-bedded and all rooms have their own bathroom. This is a very popular hotel and groups return again and again.

The most pleasant times of year to come to Europe are May to September, therefore you may wish to consider this when planning your tour. Summer temperatures across Europe range from 18-35 degrees Celsius. European cities in winter can also offer many interesting cultural experiences that you may enjoy.
Travelling by coach is the most economical and flexible way to tour. Be collected from your meeting point and arrive at your destination in comfort on air-conditioned, high specification coaches. Enjoy the freedom of your own vehicle whilst on tour and travel in comfort with reclining seats and toilet. More and more groups choose to fly. We can arrange your flights from your local airport as well as from London. Once you have arrived at your destination, we can provide transfers to your accommodation and local coach hire throughout your music tour.
