This outstanding centre offers the opportunity to rehearse, perform, eat and sleep in a beautifully restored, historic site designed for professional use.

With 150 beds, 11 stunning rehearsal rooms and an auditorium, it makes the perfect base for a rehearsal and performance tour. There are opportunities to enjoy meaningful workshops with local educators, which can either be designed to enhance the learning of your repertoire, or take your students completely out of their comfort zone by teaching them how to play a whole new instrument in 45 minutes, or enjoy an improvisation session.

Concerts

If you’d like to perform a concert during your stay, we’d recommend a performance in the auditorium on the centre itself.

Concerts are well-attended by the local community and the auditorium itself provides the most professional of settings. Elsewhere, there are some beautiful churches in surrounding towns and villages where concerts regularly take place. There are also bandstands in the area which welcome instrumental groups. A concert in a church in Amsterdam, which is just 1 hour’s drive or train ride away, is a popular option.

Joint concerts

Whatever your ensemble type, it can be arranged for you to enjoy a joint rehearsal, concert and social time with a local ensemble. We find that this is a wonderful way in which to exchange ideas and experiences, and it’s always a lot of fun for all!

55km2 of heathland, woods and sand dunes, right on the doorstep of our centre. Here you can hire bikes and explore the many tracks safely, or visit the art gallery, sculpture park or museum.

An hour on the train or coach, Amsterdam is a fantastic city to explore. Visit Anne Frank’s house, take a canal cruise or visit one of the fantastic museums.

Just a few short kilometres away from the centre, the Open Air Museum allows you to travel back in time. It has an array of historic buildings including typical houses, windmills and farmhouses that bring history to life in lots of fun and interesting ways.

Enjoy a day of exhilarating rides at this fantastic theme park, suitable for all ages (take out for adult groups)

Popular places to stay.

Groups are accommodated at the rehearsal centre, in 2-6 bedded rooms, all with private bathroom. All rooms are very spacious and modern.

Meals

All meals can be taken at the centre, and packed lunches can also be provided. Breakfast is a plentiful buffet, while lunch and evening meals are self-service. All food is sourced locally and is of the highest quality, prepared by in-house chefs.

We can send you mini-brochures to hand out at your rehearsals and a PowerPoint presentation for assemblies and parent’s meetings you may wish to hold. We also have a promotional poster to put up around your school, which you can download here. This will make it easier for you to get your students excited about your plans.

We understand that school music tours are considered as a reward or holiday for many groups and that where you stay is really important. All hotels and hostels we use are suitable for young music ensembles with many offering rehearsal space and instrument storage. Rooms are normally multi-bedded for students and twins, sometimes singles, for adults. Generally, rooms are en-suite.

We work hard to generate excellent attendance at each concert, as we understand that an appreciative audience makes all the difference. We produce eye-catching posters and handbills, which are displayed and distributed in the environs of your concerts. We also advertise your concerts in online and hard copy local What’s On Guides as well as newspapers, by way of press releases. In addition, we invite local dignitaries, music societies and music students to your concerts. Last but not least, we provide you with posters for your concerts, which will be displayed in your coach and placed on your Club Europe poster board at your venue by your tour manager before each concert.
