Being number 1 for basketball in Europe, Spain has a lot to offer sports tour groups and the Mare Nostrum Basketball tournament is one of them. The tournament that takes place at Easter every year is held in Salou, Spain and attracts over 1400 competitors. With accommodation at Cambrils Park Resort, you can be certain your players will have as much fun off the court as they do on the court as they take on some of Europe’s top youth teams.
Day 1
Morning departure from school. Check in to accommodation and register your team. The competition starts this afternoon.
Day 2
Group stages continue this morning for all teams.
Day 3
Today is finals day. Matches are played throughout the day and finish with the closing ceremony and trophy presentation. Some groups will depart today to return home whilst others will extend their trip to do some sightseeing.
Cambrils Park Resort is a great place to stay as there is plenty to do in your spare time including volleyball, ping pong, swimming pools and more.
We can offer inspection trips tailored to your specific needs. We are more than happy to put you in touch with some of our happy clients.
You should book your tour between 8-18 months in advance. This will give us time to secure the best possible accommodation, matches and excursion programme for your tour and you will have ample time for fundraising should you need to do so.
We offer you all the advice and support you require – every step of the way. Rest assured; we organise everything.
