Staying positive during the lockdown

With schools closed and young people no longer able to play team sports, students’ mental health is more important than ever.

Here are some tips that may help your students:

  • Limit time you spend reading or watching bulletins about the virus and stick to trusted sources.

  • Try and maintain healthy diet, sleep and exercise patterns.

  • Try to introduce a structure to your day.

  • Consider learning a new skill.

  • Keep active: go for a run or work out at home.

  • Stay in touch with your friends, sharing positive messages.

  • Be kind to others and to yourself.

We hope all our students and teachers stay safe and well during this pandemic.
