Experience professional training sessions
Football in Austria, like a lot of countries, is the nation’s most popular sport. The national team have been ever-present in both World Cups and European competitions and the likes of FC Red Bull Salzburg regularly represent the country in the Champions and Europa leagues. During your Austrian football tour, experience professional training sessions run by ex-Austrian national team player, Franz Aigner, at top quality facilities. You will be based centrally in Wagrain, in one of our traditional houses surrounded by natural beauty.
Sample itinerary
Availability of tickets for professional matches will be dictated by tour dates.
Day 1
Morning departure from school. Afternoon light training session. Evening free time to spend at hotel or in local area.
Day 2
Morning training sessions with Franz Aigner’s coaches. Afternoon friendly match against local opposition. Evening air tobogganing on the Lucky Flitzer.
Day 3
Morning coaching session followed by a lunchtime Segway tour. Second training session of the day before free evening at the hotel.
Day 4
Morning recovery training session. Afternoon friendly match against local players. Evening meal and end of tour celebrations.
Day 5
Morning departure from hotel to visit the Red Bull arena (home of Red Bull Salzburg). Afternoon departure back home.

You will have your own bilingual sports tours rep for the whole of your tour. Their role is to coordinate your training/matches and activities/excursions and to ensure your stay is enjoyable, safe and memorable. All our reps are carefully selected, fully trained and are on duty 24 hours a day should an emergency arise.
