Ski the Panoronda, a 44km panorama circuit

Bad Goisern is a perfect destination for school ski trips. Surrounded by mountains in the Traunviertel Dachstein Salzkammergut area, Bad Goisern lies at 500m above sea level with 77km pistes in the Dachstein-West ski area. Skiers have free access to buses that will take you from Bad Goisern to the nearby lifts. Proximity to the Dachstein glacier and surrounding mountains ensures great snow conditions throughout winter.

The immediate ski area offers 77 kms of mainly intermediate-level slopes allowing for great progression through the week, while the many fun slopes and the large freestyle snowpark for beginners and advanced freestylers provide excitement and fun. A true highlight is the Panoronda, a 44 km long panorama ski circuit along the Dachstein. Your ski pass provides access to the Dachstein-Skiverbund with a total of 142 km and the free ski bus means that you can try out different areas on different days for added variety.

Bad Ischl, crowned European Capital of Culture for 2024 is a ten-minute drive away and offers bowling and climbing as well as the true spa and swimming experience. Locally, enjoy horse-drawn sleigh rides, ice-curling and snow-shoeing, or an evening trip to the Salzbergwelt salt mines.
