I was happy with the communication, always an email away. [Alison] being on hand to answer questions quicily was very helpful. One of the best trips we've had from the flights to the ariport, to the hotel. to the whole package. It suited everyone.

Après-ski Review

Yes, great variety.

Accommodation Review

Hanes and his team were fantastic again. We like the fact we can ski back into the resort. The walk is a gently one.back each morning. Fantastic amount of food, really good and they would always give more. They accommodate every member of staff on the trip and it was a really good stay.

Everything is exactly how Club Europe have sold it – so we never get any surprises, and it was lovely to get a visit from both Catherine and Tim while in resort. Tim and Cath organising the return of a suitcase that was left behind in a way that was very convenient for the parents shows the personal touch that  I have come to expect from Club Europe.

Skiing Review

The lead instructor, Vito, was outstanding, and even swapped groups with a member of his team to try to bring the lower set up to speed quicker.

Après-ski Review

As usual, the Tyrolean evening was brilliant fun and the students really enjoyed the swimming.

Accommodation Review

Very good accommodation – excellent host in HanesS. Staff were superb and Haness was very attentive and solved any problems immediately. Food was very good quality and there was always enough for second helpings. All dietary needs were catered for.

Rep Review

Beyond expectations. Maria became a real part of our team and skied with a range of groups and staff thoroughout the week. Outstanding level of care and everything was really well-organised. Indespensable and, as party leader, Maria took lots of the worrying off my shoulders wherever she could.

Luke was very helpful, quick in responding and very knowledgeable on every aspect of the trip. I could speak or email about the trip and no job or question that needed answering was too big a problem. Very helpful in setting up the trip. Overall: Well organised, extremely fun and full of memories.

[About the ski hire] “All equipment was in really good condition and fitted really well. There was plenty of hands to help and we got through it all very quickly and with little effort. [About the ski instructors] “ Best set of instructors I have had in 7 trips skiing! All very helpful, knowledgeable. It was very cold and it said a lot that we didn’t have children complaining and they made it very fun for all, including us staff!

Après-ski Review

Great variety, with the swimming, horse drawn sleigh ride and evening ski. Something for everyone and they had a great time.

Accommodation Review

The location is superb, nice steady walk down to the first slope. Both Intermediate and Advanced could ski back which was great.

Rep Review

She communicated positively and enthusiastically with our students. She was very helpful, and made every effort to help the children and myself anyway she could.

Overall Review

Lots of communications leading up to our trip. Defintily a 5 out of 5 for information and guidance regarding the trip. Communication was really clear and helpful with regards to our trip and the activities planned. Cath was very patient with me as we were often behind certain deadlines due to the uncertainty around travel. But the team was very understanding and accommodating of my lateness.

Skiing Review

The ski hire was a great facility, students were in and out quickly. All the instructors were great, very patient with our group.

The resort was fantastic, with easy access to the slopes and the hotel. Accommodation was brilliant. Great owner, great food and rooms were perfect for our group. Nice private dinning room for our group. The location was perfect, high resort with lots of snow. Perfect for our beginner groups. Staff were extremely helpful.

Very good service, helpful and always contactable. [Club Europe] put together a really good programme. We had clear direction and when any Covid advice came up we were informed straight away.

Skiing Review

The ski hire ran very smoothly considering the size of our group. Our four instructors were the four best we've ever had; they kept the beginners motivated and the more advanced skiers interested.

Accommodation Review

The Gottschallalm as always was great, very accommodating. Hannes and his team were really helpful throughout. They couldn't do enough in terms of providing more food and chekcing in on us during our stay. A really good location. Happy to have the 5 minute walk back to the nursery slope and great that we can ski back into the resort.

Rep Review

Andreas was calm and nothing was too much. He organised everything really well. He was spot on throughout the trip.

We're big fans of the Gottschallalm! We love it for its location, cleanliness, staff and the fact you can ski back in an evening. Great for a school trip – nothing in the surrounding area to entice the kids to leave without permission. Close enough to walk to the ski lift in the morning. Staff are very helpful indeed.

Club Europe Privacy Notice – Protecting your privacy

Introduction

Your privacy is paramount to us. This Privacy Notice explains in detail the types of personal data we may collect about you when you interact with us. It also explains how we’ll store and handle that data, and keep it safe.

We know that there’s a lot of information here but we want you to be fully informed about your rights, and how Club Europe uses your data.

We hope the following sections will answer any questions you have but if not, please do get in touch with us.

We will never share your data with a third party for marketing purposes; it’s not how we work.

1. What is personal data

Personal data refers to information about you, and from which you could be identified.  It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).  There are “special categories” of more personal data which require a higher level of protection.

2. Who does what

Club Europe holidays Ltd is the data controller and we have appointed Tim Johnson as the Data Processing Officer. To keep things simple, when we refer to “we” and “us” it means Club Europe.

3. Legal basis explained

The new laws of data protection set out a number of different reasons for which a company may collect and process your personal data. We believe the following apply to you in terms of how we work:-

Consent

In specific situations, we can collect and process your data with your consent.

For example, when you tick a box to receive our marketing updates.

Contractual obligations

In certain circumstances, we need your personal data to comply with our contractual obligations.

For example, in planning and executing your tour, we will need important personal data such as names, emergency mobile contact numbers, passport information and dietary or medical requirements. We use these only to fulfil our contractual obligations and promise to keep them safe and secure.

Legitimate interest

Where we have an ongoing relationship with you, we will use the non sensitive data we store such as email addresses & past tour information to help us keep you informed of our products and social events.

For example, we will look back on previous tour destinations you may have been to and offer new tours that may be relevant.

We will also use your details to send you direct marketing information by email and occasionally post, telling you about products and services that we think might interest you.

You will have the right to unsubscribe at any time and we will respect your preferences.

4. What sort of personal data do we collect?

We collect your name, email address, school or club address, mobile telephone and work contact number as a minimum.

Where you are planning a tour with us we will, at the appropriate time, request that you complete additional passenger information for the group you are responsible for. The information we will request is passport details, dietary or medical requirements, dates of birth, gender, ski ability, height, weight and details of any musical instruments your group may be bringing. If we need to refund you monies then we will request an appropriate bank or building society account. The account and sort code will only be stored in our secure Banking software in case we need to pay you again.

We’ll only ask for and use your personal data collected for recommending tours or inviting you to social events we may be planning. Of course, it’s always your choice whether you share such details with us.

In order for you to travel abroad, it may be mandatory (as required by government authorities at the point(s) of departure and/or destination) to disclose and process your information for immigration, border control, security and anti-terrorism purposes, or any other purposes which they determine appropriate. These requirements may differ depending on your destination and you are advised to check. Even if not mandatory, we may exercise our discretion to assist where appropriate.

We may share your personal data with marketing agencies to improve our products and services.

Whenever we collect or process your personal data, we’ll only keep it for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
At the end of that retention period, your data will either be deleted completely or anonymised, for example by aggregation with other data so that it can be used in a non-identifiable way for statistical analysis and business planning.

Some examples of customer data retention periods:
