On the slopes 

Les Menuires is a brilliant base for a group of intermediate to advanced skiers as everyone will be able to find their ski legs on the blue runs heading directly into the bowl of the resort. Follow the sun on the Pointe de la Masse side in the morning and then head over to Mont de la Chambre in the afternoon. Wide slopes that return to the village centre provide a reassuring base for beginners to progress and all the surrounding summits are accessible via blue runs. The budget-friendly les Menuires pass includes one day to Val Thorens, or you can buy the Three Valleys pass for the whole week to explore all that this massive ski resort has to offer.  

Les Menuires has a small swimming pool, and sports hall with trampolines; on-the-snow activities include igloo building and the air toboggan (luge sur rails). Enjoy wandering around the cafes and shops in La Croisette, the car-free centre, or spend an evening in nearby Brides les Bains or the big swimming pool at Val Thorens.
