hannah.b@club-europe.co.ukHannah has been advising and assisting music leaders on their Concert Tours since 2005. She has a keen interest in classical music and studied at Durham University. She plays the flute and violin and has been a member of numerous London and Brighton based orchestras. Hannah has travelled extensively, visiting 33 countries.
About her role, Hannah says: “I love working with Heads of Music, conductors and arts leaders from a wide variety of ensembles, towards refining a Concert Tour that is perfect for their group. Whether it’s the first or the fifteenth trip, taking an ensemble to perform in Europe is an incredibly exciting project. I hugely enjoy combining efforts with my clients to see all our hard work paying off towards a superb tour. I’m immensely proud when I read yet another positive feedback form and when I hear that ensemble members have returned to rehearsals enthused and motivated by their music-making abroad. Club Europe work for months, often years, on these tours and I am proud to recognise that we played a part in inspiring musicians from all walks of life.”
Hannah launched a special one-off charitable project called ‘Proud to Perform’. This fully subsidised award enabled one underprivileged youth ensemble to perform in Paris.
In her spare time, Hannah volunteers for a music charity which specialises in offering community-based participatory music sessions for mental health, for older people, for those with learning disabilities and for people living with dementia and their carers.
