A Club Europe tour manager ensured a school choir tour to Paris last month was a great success.
“Katie has been the best tour manager we have ever had so she exceeded our expectations,“ Tracey the young choir’s music teacher said. “She was amazing and we had every confidence in her. She was extremely helpful – she liaised well with the staff at Chartres and Disney, she spoke in French at our Chartres concert. She communicated superbly. She was great with the children and got on very well with the staff.”
Tracey added: “She was amazing and we had every confidence in her. We would like to reinforce just how much we thought of our brilliant tour manager Katie. Thank you so much Katie!”
The junior choir from a school in North Humberside performed two concerts, one in Chartres Cathedral and one at Disneyland.
Tracey was also impressed with the hostel: “It exceeded our expectations. The staff were lovely! Really helpful, friendly and smiley. The food was excellent quality – a good amount and vegetarians well catered for. We were very impressed. We really liked it, there were some lovely touches like the welcome sign with our school logo on and we really felt that the staff could not do enough for us. We were made to feel really welcome.”
Overall Tracey said “I was impressed with the clear instructions from Club Europe and reminders to do things, which is essential when you are a busy teacher. The children had a brilliant experience and we are sure they will treasure the memories of this wonderful trip for a very long time to come.”
