Cath was always very prompt in responding and assisting. All 47 boys had a wonderful skiing experience, whether it was improving their skiing, the evening ents or local food, they were left with plenty of memories. I would travel with Club Europe again; we have a very long standing relationship.

Very suitable for skiing, evening activities and  shopping. It would be my first choice for next year. The staff were extremely helpful. Monika and her family/staff could not do enugh for us. Gerog was outstanding in every respect. We formed a good double act when talking to the students. Authoritative, knowledgable and friendly. A good tour manager takes a lot of pressure off the party leader and Georg certainly did that.

Being able to speak to Tim when Lufthansa were refusing to let some of our pupils fly was crucial, and the calm support he offered was great. The group whatsapp which was set up for the trip was also a really good idea.

I was impressed with the number of people at Club Europe who were able to offer help and support. We weren’t just dealing with one person but a whole team, including the MD Tim Johnson. The final pack was very useful and easy to navigate. Club Europe are a company who care about the experience you have with them.

We were all very impressed with the ski gear, the parents even commented on how good quality they were, especially as it was the end of the season. The chaps in the ski shop were clearly used to dealing with large groups and had a very good system at making sure all our group had the correct kit. If we had any problems the ski shop staff were very keen to help throughout the week. A first class service! The two instructors we had were very good and brilliant with our children. Their rapport was excellent which made the week that more enjoyable for the children. Both instructors spoke good English. The parents who had private lessons were also very pleased with them.

Hannah was brilliant. Extremely helpful and supportive throughout the trip and we were very happy with her. No job was too big or small. She was very good with the children and you could see that they responded and trusted her.

The flight times were very well suited to our needs. Particularly the departure on our last day. Location was as close to home/school/hotel as it could be. The transfer from Salzburg to our hotel was perfect. At Gatwick BA customer services were very helpful and created a group check in. At Salzburg the airport was very quiet so made checking in very easy.

This is the first time I would use the same company again. I have tried 4 others and wouldn’t go back, so well done! Brilliant, everything was catered from and our students and staff had the best time. We couldn't speak highly enough of the resort, hotel and our fantastic rep Karin. We did the alpine rollercoaster (kids loved it, I nearly threw up!), austrian evening (brilliant!) and the ice hockey (amazing!).

It was brilliant. The set up and sole allocation of a ‘wing’ and dining rooms and meeting rooms was great. Location to slopes fab and ski fit being on site was very good. It was so easy to access the slopes and had a little super market which was all we needed. There was always more than enough food and most of it went down very well with no one going hungry.

She was excellent. She had a good rapport with the students and was always happy to join in. She was a breath of fresh air and I couldn’t have asked more from her. She anticipated what we needed before asking and quickly sorted any issue. She helped make the trip run smoothly. From changing skis, sorting staff lunches, food requirements, sorting ski instructors to making sure ski races, entertaiment and drivers were sorted. I would happily have Karin again.

Very good, I felt very safe, especially through the night. I have not always had this and with other companies had to stay awake to keep an eye on them. They were excellent, very accomodating and even went on a bit of a rescue mission to collect a group from a neighbouring resort after ending in the wrong place.

Definitely, perfect location and supported the needs of our group. Staff were very helpful from Day 1 to Day 8, ensuring the children were always well looked after along with the staff. We used many of the hotel’s facilities including, trampolines, sports hall, ski storage room, climbing Wall, electronic table, air hockey, sing Star and playstation. The resort was outstanding, a great place to stay for our group of children.

It was appreciated that the teachers could go inside and get their equipment this time (Thanks Tim!) as it freed us up to help the students and the quality of the skis was better. This year the quality of the students skis was good we didn’t have any mishaps. The four ski instructors were good and I would be happy to have them again.

Maria continued to have a positive impact on our ski trip. I very much hope she will join us in 2019. Magdelana her sister was also in the hotel and was also a really positive presence. As mentioned before the quality of Reps (as well as the rest of the Club Europe team) has been a big factor in us returning with Club Europe as it gives us a lot of confidence and reassurance in resort. It has been fantastic to have had Maria for 4 trips and we cross our fingers she is able to join us for a 5th next year.

Skiing Review

All of the girls made good progress. The groups started out as equal sizes but by the end of the week there were only 4 students in group 10. This did mean that everybody skied at an appropriate level. TGS staff did ski with the lessons in the morning and stayed with the group at lunchtime. I feel that this arrangement worked well. The girls really enjoyed the race at the end of the week and two cups were given out along with the medals.

Accommodation Review

I really like Flachau for skiing as the runs are extremely long. Once you have taken three lifts up you can spend the next 15 mins skiing down to the bottom. Also if there were any problems we knew the girls would be brought down to the starting point. The accommodation was very good. Excellent facilities and the bedrooms benefited from having the wash basin in the room rather than in the bathroom. It helped to speed things up when there are 6 girls sharing a room.

Luke Pierce was very helpful, easy to contact via email and gave lots of information when needed. The ski session available for staff was a really nice touch. The parents evening was very helpful and informative. The personal service throughout was really nice. Dealing with the same people made the whole experience very easy and trouble free. Overall it was a great trip - a very personal and professional experience. I thought all staff involved, Tim, Luke and Morten were fantastic and represented Club Europe amazingly. Luke’s contribution on this side was brilliant, lots of contact and meetings when available and taking the time to call whilst the school was in resort was much appreciated.

Skiing Review

The ski hire was very good, equipment fitting was appropriate and swift. Ski’s were in good condition with suitable skis and poles for the different heights and abilities. They swapped equipment with no hesitation, spoke English and understood my pigeon German. Very satisfied with the ski school. Students really enjoyed the instructors. There was a fantastic rapport with instructors and students. I personally liked the fact that the instructors were ours and ours alone. A race was organised at the end of the week in a very professional manner and gave the students a chance to show what they’ve learned. Particularly the beginner groups as this was their first time that high up the mountain in what was some pretty tough conditions.

Loved the activities, of ice hockey, Tyrolean evening, and bowling. Some staff even said it was the best evening entertainment programme they’ve experienced on a school trip. The hockey match was AWESOME!!! A really great experience and atmosphere in the stadium for the match. A fantastic touch was the half time interval for myself and a lucky student, unfortunately we finished second in the race!!

Accommodation Review

The hotel was was good, clean and appropriate facilities as advertised and near the slopes. The staff were very helpful, extra food and drinks were available when asked for. The use of the sports hall was helpful.

Morten was great. He organised the drivers and our evening ents with ease. He worked really well with the students, his sense of humour was very good and the students worked well with him with respect and confidence. He was very professional and represented Club Europe well. Morten was fantastic, a really good addition to the team. I couldn’t recommend him more.

Fab. Not as big as Saalbach but so much quieter on the slopes. I only queued once! particularly the nursery slopes which meant that they progressed quickly. Also it was only 30 mins to another resort for something different.

Luke Pierce – fantastic as usual. I always think the parents evening when Luke comes to the school to give the presentation is very good and really valuable for the teacher/parent experience. Overall it was good fun – all parents and pupils were pleased with the trip and luckily there were no injuries!

The instructors were all fantastic and the pupils loved skiing with them. They were all super positive and the pupils really benefited from their lessons. They were also extremely helpful and always responded to our requests – could not recommend them highly enough. When they did the prize giving at the hotel as well they were very engaging and knew all the pupils.

The accommodation was very good and the food was exceptional- every night was of a high quality and the pupils really liked the choice. They also accommodated for special dietary requirements really well.

Very happy with all our dealings with Cath. The company are always very good when details are late to be sent and are very flexible. Good communication throughout and no pressure. Another excellent skiing week had by all in Austria which was supported by a helpful and friendly staff at Club Europe.

Extremely impressed with the accommodation and would definitely like to go back again. The staff, rooms and food were all excellent. Rooming was excellent with students separated on different floors. Extremely happy with the food. We had a vegetarian and non pork eaters and all were catered for well. There was plenty of food and the salad bar was very good.

We had not been to Radstadt since 2009, we had excellent weather and good snow. I would argue that it was nicer than Flachau because it was much quieter. The accommodation was great as was the family. I liked the fact it was out of town as it meant the students had to stay on site.

Very suitable. Our students’ rooms were all together this year and having the Larchenhof meeting room on the same floor as our rooms worked well. The room we had for food also worked well. All our students needs were met including the Vegan and vegetarian students.

With the staff Maria worked really well and was on hand for any issues. She dealt with everyone in a friendly and professional manner. She communicated with the students well when they required help on the trip. She was always a reassuring presence who they knew they could approach. As always I have found the tour manager role to be very important on the trip. Maria carried it out in exactly the manner I would expect. She was very important to the success of the tour and it was really good to work with her yet again. Having the same tour manager made such a difference to me as it gave such reassurance and confidence to my planning as I knew Maria already knew how I liked doing things and that we would be able to get things done efficiently.

Victor the head ski instructor was very good at communicating with us and I would really like to work with him and the rest of his team next time. The inspection visit was extremely helpful and allowed us to look at the resort and give us real insight into what it had to offer. Very assuring to have the owner of the company in resort and on hand to deal with any issues, it made everything get sorted straight away. It gave it a very personal feel to the tour that we really appreciated.

Great that the ski hire was local, both at hotel and at the shop at the slopes. The students loved the ski school them and made good relationships with them and progressed rapidly. It’s always a good sign when students want to buy them gifts at the end of the week.

We were very impressed with the plan, design of rooms and how we were allocated one floor so it was easy to monitor and maintain standards of our students whilst in the hotel. It offered us everything new needed and more especially with the use of the sports hall and group dining room away from other guests. There was a Sports hall attached to the hotel, local swimming pool and a local curling rink.

Very good pistes which accommodated the levels of skier we travelled with.

Accommodation Review

The accommodation was clean and well-kept. It had a variety of communal areas which were all robust enough to handle 13 year old students. The location was excellent with regard to distance from slopes, ski school and chairlifts. It was great to be able to walk to the ski lifts/ ski school, and store our skis at the foot of the mountain. The staff were very helpful, courteous and smiling at all times.

Veronika really became one of our team and integrated very well. She interacted really well with students especially on the slopes, ate with us at every meal and joined in our prize giving ceremonies at the end of each day.

We again had a great week with Club Europe in Wagrain. I was most impressed with the help and support from CE. Luke responded quickly to e-mails and nothing was too much trouble. We had a fantastic week of skiing in a lovely resort that has plenty to offer. It is my fifth year in Flachau and I cannot see the need to change resorts. Club Europe are professional, yet friendly and helpful.

This is the school's third ski trip with Club Europe. As always they are extremely helpful and will get back to you as soon as you have any queries regarding the trip. Ice hockey was superb and the accommodation was fantastic and very helpful. The presentation evening is very helpful for parents and students. All information given in good time. Another great trip for the students! Thank you to Club Europe for all the hard work.

Luke listened to our requirements and organised a tour that met all our requirements.  Excellent service, professional, excellent reps and management. Gave students the experience of outdoor education and learning to push themselves and look after themselves. Again, a really excellent week with all the service that we have grown to accept with Club Europe.

Really excellent equipment  - great skis and boots (even my matching pink skis!). Excellent ski shop staff. Excellent service - we had to change a few skis and boots and the shop was helpful at all times. All students loved their instructors and made real progress.
