Ski buffs might turn their noses up at potentially slushy conditions but Easter offers a great opportunity to take school groups on a student ski trip.
Just back from Austria where our school ski trip groups had a wonderful week’s skiing, Alison Wareham, our Ski Operations Manager explains why:
1) Weather – sunny skies, longer warm days but great conditions under your skis. February and January can be bitterly cold which takes its toll on students, who might be skiing for the first time. By contrast, Easter offers a milder climate in which to get to grips with altitude, kit and a physically demanding week.
2) Snow – spring snow may be different from winter but is still perfect for school groups. Ski higher and start earlier in the day and you will still enjoy fabulous conditions.
3) Queues – fewer people mean that our accommodation is quieter, there are no queues at the lifts and a more relaxed atmosphere in resort.
4) Price – look at our great Easter offers to discover why this could be the perfect time to get a school ski trip off the ground.
5) Holidays – not insignificant for you as a party leader: ski at February and you are straight back to school on Monday with only 24 hours to turn round before facing the kids again. Much as you love them, how nice would it be to have a week off in between the ski trip and term to recharge your batteries completely?
So before all thoughts of ski trips fade from your mind as surely as the spring snow starts melting on the mountains, give us a call on Freephone 0800 496 4996 or send us an email to book your Easter school ski trip now!
