Five great reasons for considering the Tyrol for your next school ski trip!
The Skiing
If you are thinking about a school ski trip, this will be your first reason! Our base in Sankt Johann offers you the choice of world-famous Kitzbühel but we also highly recommend at least a couple of days in Sankt Johann, where wide runs and fewer people will get everyone feeling confident on their skis.
The Delicious Food
such as the Tiroler Gröstl - a winning combination of fried potatoes, onions and bacon topped with a fried egg. Like an English breakfast but available all day and the perfect choice for a hot mountain lunch.
Shopping
might not be the first activity that comes to mind when planning your trip but we think Sankt Johann has a beautiful town centre that is really worth a visit. Wander safely through the cobbled pedestrian streets, sample a frothy hot chocolate in one of the many cafes and have fun browsing the wide variety of shops that cater to all budgets
Spacious Accommodation
The Niederstrasserhof is perfectly located between Kitzbühel and Sankt Johann with beautiful views of the Wilder Kaiser. Your group will be comfortably accommodated in 4 or 6-bedded rooms in this welcoming and friendly youth hostel.

In other words, there's no such word as "no"! This is my favourite reason and why I love returning to the Tirol. Nothing is too much effort and this applies to everyone from your accommodation hosts, ski school teachers, ski hire shop or local bus driver.
