Skiing in Bornio

An old medieval spa town, Bornio has 50 km of well-groomed, north facing slopes that extend up to over 3000m.

Ideal for intermediates and beginners, the slopes have a mixture of magic carpets and easy draglifts. Progression on to longer blues is good. Confident intermediates then have the pick of the mountain, including the long descents back into town, the snowsure reds at the top of the resort and the Stelvio downhill course.
