With so many stories of the Second World War and the Cold War still evident in its many buildings and memorials, Berlin is a fascinating base for a language and art trip. Students will have morning language lessons and art workshops followed by trips to some of the city’s numerous sights, monuments and museums, giving German language students ample chance to practice their language skills and art students a chance to visit some of the city’s famous galleries and art exhibitions.
Day 1
Arrive in the morning. In the afternoon, take the Berlin Wall & Cold War Bike Tour that travels to the East of the city. In the evening enjoy some bowling.
Day 2
Morning language lessons. In the afternoon enjoy a guided visit to the Dalí – The Exhibition and a visit to Checkpoint Charlie and the Checkpoint Charlie Museum. In the evening, watch a film at the Freiluftkino Friedrichshain (outdoor cinema).
Day 3
Morning language lessons followed by an afternoon visit to the Hamburg Bahnhof Museum.
Day 4
In the morning enjoy a Street Art Workshop. Depart for the airport in the afternoon for your flight home.

You will be based in a centrally-located, contemporary hostel such as the Berlin Ostkreuz Youth Hostel, close to the many attractions and transport connections, enabling easy exploration of the city and its sites.
You should book your tour between 8-18 months in advance. This will give us time to secure the best possible accommodation and excursion programme for your tour and you will have ample time for fundraising should you need to do so.
