Whether you’re looking for a Geography or Biology field trip, a Service Learning, English Literature or Art and Design trip, we have 13 beautiful rural UK residential centres for you to choose from.
Each are set in their own grounds and have wonderful facilities and accommodation for our young groups. Each centre can offer a bespoke educational programme as well as a chance to explore the area and make the most of being in the country.

Set in the quintessentially English countryside of the Dedham Vale in Suffolk on the banks of the River Stour, Flatford Mill’s facilities include a campfire area, woodland, grassland, an island, a games field, a common room with table tennis and table football, picnic benches and a wildlife pond.
Educational trips include: Art & design, Photography, Geography, Creative Writing, Biology, Environmental Science, Ecosystems & habitats and more.
Activity programme: Visit the historic Bridge Cottage, the location for many of John Constable’s works; take a stroll around the famous university city of Cambridge; or visit Jimmy’s Farm and Wildlife Park to see animals from crocodiles and camels to emus and wallabies.
Flatford Mill is 1.5 hours from Gatwick Airport.

Located 300m up the south facing slope of Blencathra in the Lake District National Park, Blencathra offers spectacular views across Keswick, Helvellyn and Skiddaw. Facilities include a games room, an extensive range of on- and off-site activities. shop and lounge.
Educational trips include Nature & Bushcraft, Geography, Biology, Environmental Science, Common Entrance and IB programmes, GSCE Science Practical and more.
Activity programme: Spend a day at Go Ape Whinlatter Forest Park for its forest segway, tree top climbing challenge and more; visit Threlkeld Quarry and Mining Museum for an underground tour and a unique insight into the workings of a quarry site; or watch the magical birds of prey display at the Lake District Wildlife Park, a 24-acre parkland with over 100 species.

Margam Discovery Centre lies within the beautiful Margam Country Park, an 850-acre country estate nestling on the narrow coastal plain and southern slopes of Mynydd Margam. The centre offers an extensive range of on- and off-site activities, a common room and shop.
Educational trips include: Geography, Biology, Environmental Science, Common Entrance programmes, Fieldwork Skills, Scientific Skills and more.
Activity programme: Visit Margram Country Park, an 850-acre park with a castle, orangery, gardens, narrow-gauge railway and rare breeds farm trail; enjoy the Treetop Challenge, Zip Lines, Zip Wires, High Ropes and more at Go Ape Margram; or visit the beautiful Aberavon Beach in Port Talbot.
Margram Park is 2.5 hours from Birmingham Airport.

Located on the Isle of Cumbrae on the Firth of Clyde, Millport is a former marine research station and now a purpose-built teaching centre with en-suite accommodation. Access to the centre is via a 10-minute ferry ride from Largs. Facilities include a library, lounge, shop, an on-site natural rock climbing wall and rafting facilities. There is also a marine research vessel on site, (RV Actinia) which can deploy a range of marine sampling equipment.
Educational trips include: Higher and IB Geography, Environmental Exploration and Adventure, Enhanced Fieldwork Techniques. GCSE Freshwater Ecology, IB Diploma Environmental Systems and Societies and more.
Activity programme: See the famous Crocodile Rock on Newton Beach; walk the Millport Fairy Trail; or visit the Robertson Museum and Aquarium to learn more about the fascinating underwater world and history of the marine station.

Once your student travel tour is booked, it is safely in our hands. We will only ask for you assistance in understanding your specific requirements and you will be responsible for ensuring that the dates on our checklist are adhered to. During the process, we will also ask you to provide accurate student and teacher name, passport and dietary requirement details where appropriate.
The most pleasant time of year to come to Europe is between May and September; you may wish to consider this when planning your tour. Summer temperatures across Europe range from 18-35 degrees Celsius. European cities in winter can also offer many interesting cultural experiences that you may enjoy.
