Supporting all the STEM subjects, this Academy is designed to ignite a passion for space and open students’ eyes to the many opportunities available in the global space sector. Available as a two- or three-day programme, this in-school Academy can be held on a weekend, long holiday weekend, or during in-school days.
From a Brief History of Space Exploration to learning what it’s like to live and work in space, students will come away with an understanding of international space programmes and the UAE’s space ambitions.
Students will sample food designed for space, design a Mars habitat, and debate whether its humans or robots who should be exploring the final frontier. Instant engineering challenges will test their ingenuity, and their creativity and teamworking skills will be used as they design team mission patches.
Students will learn about:

The most pleasant time of year to come to Europe is between May and September; you may wish to consider this when planning your tour. Summer temperatures across Europe range from 18-35 degrees Celsius. European cities in winter can also offer many interesting cultural experiences that you may enjoy.
You should book your tour between 8-18 months in advance. This will give us time to secure the best possible accommodation and excursion programme for your tour and you will have ample time for fundraising should you need to do so.
