Head of Art
We gave Lucy, our Account Manager, a bit of a challenge with our request for this bespoke Creative arts trip! At no point did we feel that this was a problem, and we were not made to fit an existing trip format. We were delighted with the way Lucy and the team did her best to help us to create an exciting, interesting itinerary for our pupils. Isabel, our Operations Manager, was meticulous with her planning throughout, and kept in regular contact which was reassuring. Any queries were dealt with promptly and courteously. She was open to suggestions from myself and the Art and Drama teachers, and we were very happy with our itinerary. I was most impressed with your prompt responses, friendly yet professional manner and your willingness to help us create a bespoke tour. We never felt as if this was a problem. We were looked after from start to finish by a supportive team at Club Europe enabling our pupils to have a fantastic, enriching Creative Arts experience.
Music – Both workshops were excellent. Tom was spot on. Most of the music pupils are quite shy and quiet, but they all said afterwards that they felt comfortable. They behaved just as if they were at school. Tom pitched it just right and did not ‘push’ individuals. He was very informative and the workshop was everything I had hoped for. The musicians were excellent, and pupils particularly enjoyed seeing a harpsichord, and hearing a professional singer. They commented afterwards that the set works covered in the workshop are now easier to understand. I would recommend the Music workshops in particular to other schools who offer the Edexcel GCSE music spec. Art – The Wallace collection, Tate Modern and the Serpentine Gallery were all excellent. The opportunity to see Art in a variety of galleries enabled pupils to experience Art outside the classroom. Drama – We did a workshop at the Pineapple Dance Studios.
Excellent. David was polite, helpful.
