Taking a young music group to Australia is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Club Europe’s founders, The Johnsons, are antipodeans and their knowledge and experience will ensure that your tour will be one to remember. Australia has sunshine, fantastic scenery, and highly hospitable people. Your tour will have a balance of invaluable sightseeing such as Sydney Opera house, the beaches of Queensland, the Barrier reef plus performances at some prestigious venues in the main cities.
View mapOur experts on the ground can offer the perfect performance arena to suit your musical type. Schools, bandstands, churches and larger public venues can be arranged and a warm welcome is guaranteed! In Australia, we have excellent relations with several schools, who are delighted to host British schools for a concert performance. We can also arrange performances in a variety of church venues, which range from smaller places of worship to Melbourne’s cathedrals of St Patrick’s and St Paul’s. Sydney Opera House is also a possibility for groups wishing to finish their trip with a unique finale (charges may be incurred for venue hire).

Depending on your budget, your group will normally be accommodated in centrally located 2/3 star hotels in the main cities.
We have drawn up a comprehensive step-by-step Guide to planning a school music tour for first time tourers. This covers all aspects of tour planning from budgeting and fundraising, to choosing the right destination, accommodation and performing venues for your ensemble. Click here to read our Guide.
We understand that school music tours are considered as a reward or holiday for many groups and that where you stay is really important. All hotels and hostels we use are suitable for young music ensembles with many offering rehearsal space and instrument storage. Rooms are normally multi-bedded for students and twins, sometimes singles, for adults. Generally, rooms are en-suite.
We can send you mini-brochures to hand out at your rehearsals and a PowerPoint presentation for assemblies and parent’s meetings you may wish to hold. We also have a promotional poster to put up around your school, which you can download here. This will make it easier for you to get your students excited about your plans.
