Music Tours to Prague

  • UNESCO World Heritage Site
  • Many fascinating districts to explore
  • Great classical and jazz culture

Prague continues to be one of our most popular destinations for concert groups. The description ‘City of a Hundred Spires’ gives an indication of the magnificent skyline that is Prague; from the city’s castle, the vista is absolutely breathtaking as it is virtually unbroken by modern architecture. The city owes its prosperity to the Kings of Bohemia and the Holy Roman Emperor Charles IV, who founded the University in 1348 and built the famous Charles Bridge in 1357. The medieval heart of the city is the cobbled Old Town Square, with the 14C Tyn cathedral.

Where to stay

We work with a number of hotels in Prague. One such hotel, the 3 star Hotel Ilf, enjoys a good location to the south of the city centre. It is well connected to the heart of the city itself by metro. The hotel’s rooms have ensuite facilities and there are a number of meeting rooms, a café, bar and restaurant within the hotel.

Concerts

We offer an exciting variety of venues in and around the city. In Prague itself, our ensembles have enjoyed performing in St Nicholas’ Church in Prague’s Old Town (which accepts all types of music), the Church of Our Lady Victorious at the foot of Prague Castle, and the gardens at the Castle itself. Outside Prague, our music groups visit the spa towns of Karlovy Vary, Marianske Lazny and Podebrady, Karlovy Vary being the largest and perhaps most interesting.
