Lithuania might not be at the forefront of your mind when you begin looking at where to go on your music tour, however, for groups looking for something different, it is well worth considering. The Cathedral Square, now known as Old Town, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and there is much more to compliment this. Exploring the roads around the historic centre you will come across a diverse array of architecture including Baroque, Gothic, Neoclassical and Renaissance. There are performing opportunities in some of the marvellous historic churches and characterful squares. As a lesser known region, there is so much to discover, such as Lithuanian eccentricities in the Republic of Užupis plus the interesting collection of museums, galleries and parks. We think Lithuania would be great for your next music tour!
The historic churches in Vilnius make a fantastic setting for memorable concerts. Churches in the Old Town such as St. Casimir’s Church and St. John’s Church are ideal for classical repertoire.
