“It was brilliant and everything I expected from a tour and more. Jonathan was brilliant. He was always patient with me and nothing seemed to...”
Cath Danswan, Swindon Choral Society, Wiltshire
“Lovely venues, lovely audiences, comfortable accommodation. Alahree was very prompt and efficient with her responses and understood our needs well.”
Gill Chapman, Cecilia Singers, Berkshire
At first glance, Warsaw’s Old Town is a picture postcard, with many ornate and seemingly historic buildings lining its tiny streets and main square. It is hard to believe, therefore, that these structures are less than 70 years old, and are a result of meticulous rebuilding work following their destruction during World War II. Today, the entire city has once again become one of beauty and regeneration, with a bubbling cultural scene, making this a perfect destination for your next music tour.
We recommend Warsaw particularly for choirs with a classical or sacred repertoire. The city has many beautiful churches with wonderful acoustics, where visiting choirs are welcome to perform during Mass, or give a recital.
Day 1
Arrive in Warsaw, welcome by the local guide at the airport. Transfer to hotel for evening meal. Stroll to the Old Town square to see the water show at the Multimedia Fountain Park (Friday and Saturday, May-September only).
Day 2
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, city tour of Warsaw, taking in the Old Town, a UNESCO Heritage site, followed by a visit to the Royal Castle. Free time in the Old Town for souvenir shopping. In the afternoon, cross the river to the Praga district, known today for its art and music scene. Evening concert in a church in the city centre.
Day 3
After breakfast, visit the mighty Palace of Culture, Stalin’s ‘gift’ to the city. Enjoy some shopping at the Golden Terraces shopping centre. After lunch, visit the 76 hectare Lazienki Park and take in an open air Chopin concert (Sundays/summer only). Evening performance in a church in the city centre.
Day 4
After breakfast free time for sightseeing or shopping. Depart for transfer to Warsaw airport.
A fantastic and interactive museum allowing visitors to explore the amazing universe in which we live.
Gain a greater understanding of Poland’s recent history at the Gestapo Headquarters Museum or Life Under Communism Museum.
All the 2 and 3 star hotels we use for our groups are located in the centre of the city, allowing easy access to all the sites you will want to visit.
A: We work hard to generate excellent attendance at each concert, as we understand that an appreciative audience makes all the difference. We produce eye-catching posters and handbills, which are displayed and distributed in the environs of your concerts. We also advertise your concerts in online and hard copy local What’s On Guides as well as newspapers, by way of press releases. In addition, we invite local dignitaries, music societies and music students to your concerts. Last but not least, we provide you with posters for your concerts, which will be displayed in your coach and placed on your Club Europe poster board at your venue by your tour manager before each concert.
As there is sometimes a significant time difference between us and you, email may be the best way to keep in touch with us. Alternatively, our office opening hours are 0800-1730 (GMT) should you wish to talk to us. Our phone number is +44 20 8772 6446.
Once your tour is booked, it is safely in our hands. We will only ask for you assistance in understanding your concert requirements and you will be responsible for ensuring that the dates on our checklist are adhered to. Until your departure, you simply need to prepare your musicians musically and compile the tour repertoire.
