A Gems school from the UAE will travel to Florence next summer for a fabulous cooking trip.
In addition to its wealth of beautiful architecture and proud cultural traditions, Florence is renowned for its great food and is the perfect location for a culinary trip.
Based in central Florence, the group will have easy access to the city and all its sites.
Visits to the Uffizi Gallery, The Leaning Tower of Piza, Piazzale Michelangelo and Ponte Vecchio are a must as are visits to the fantastic scenery and the fairy tale hilltop towns of Siena and San Gimigniano.
Their cookery workshops will include: learning how to make a traditional Tuscan meal, for which they will join the chefs to pick the best local ingredients fresh from the market; a cookery workshop in Lucca learning to make a typical 2-3 course meal; and a chance to make traditional pizza and gelato.
