Bring your Performing Art students to London!

  • Jun 12, 2019

A school from Oman have had a fabulous Performing Arts trip to London. Their trip featured  a theatre workshop at Pineapple Dance Studios, a trip to Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studios,  West End shows, a National Theatre Backstage Tour, a workshop at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and plenty of time to explore London on a Walking Tour.

Paige Spilles led the trip for  the American International School of Muscat:

"The kids learned so much from the tours and workshops! The shows were then excellent ways to end the long days. They loved the Globe workshop, our instructor was excellent. They also were really impressed by the tour of National Theatre. That guide was also terrific.

"I believe the London trip allowed our Advanced Drama students to prove they are Risk-Takers by navigating the very busy city of London, which is so different than Muscat! They were out of their comfort zones throughout the week. They "balanced" their learning experiences at museums with down time at the park and the evening shows. They were Contributors to our group by helping and supporting one another throughout the week. They were Inquirers, and Creative and Critical Thinkers in the workshops in which they asked questions and explored characters and texts like Midsummer's Nights Dream.

"Our students learned and grew more as people in their four day trip to London than I could have ever hoped for."
